Southdowns Podiatry Clinic was established in 2011. The clinic has gone from strength to strength starting with one clinic room and Margaret being the sole podiatrist. There are now two podiatry clinic rooms, one for biomechanics assessments, and five associate podiatrist’s. The clinic offers a range of foot treatments.
Southdowns Podiatry clinic has recently been accredited by the governing body The Royal College of Podiatry and are the only podiatry practice in Eastbourne and the surrounding area to achieve accreditation.
The aim of the accreditation scheme is to help ensure best practice, achieve a high standard of care to patients and to ensure the correct protocols are followed to practice safely and effectively within the profession. All our podiatrists are members of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the HCPC.

WHAT IS SWIFT?
Swift is a new technology, developed in the UK, which has been licensed for the general treatment of skin lesions in Podiatry and Dermatology. Swift uses microwave energy which is delivered through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue.

Margaret qualified in 2000. She is the founder of Southdowns Clinic Margaret has seven years NHS experience.

Glen Foley qualified in 2003. He specialises in biomechanics and has NHS experience, and also aided military personnel who return injured. HCPC No CH1736
Fulya qualified as a podiatrist in 2014 and immediately after working for Brighton University as a clinical technician.
HCPC No CH33575
Simon qualified in 2003 from the University of Brighton and worked in the NHS for 10 years specialising in the areas of clinical nail surgery and podiatric musculoskeletal biomechanics.
Ruzh qualified as a podiatrist in 2021 from the university of Brighton with first class honours and later pursued a master's degree in theory of podiatric surgery at the university of Huddersfield, and graduated with a distinction in 2023.
